Local Facilities

The tiny village of Little Haven is only a few minutes walk away. It has a well deserved reputation as a popular and attractive holiday destination.Set in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, it is an ideal place from which to explore our beautiful county, with many visitor attractions within easy reach. Little Haven makes a natural staging post for walkers of the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and The Crest is only 500 yards from the Path, making it a convenient place for walkers to bed and breakfast.

The village itself has three pubs, each with a different atmosphere but all serving good food at reasonable prices. There is also an attractive bistro, The Nest, which specialises in seafood. Ceri's Cafe at Captain Morgan's is adjacent to the beach, with outside tables and Ceri offers a variety of hot and cold food, including home made cakes and pates made by Rosie. In addition to a Craft Shop and Pottery, there is an RNLI Gift Shop in the Boat Park, adjacent to the Lifeboat Station. Ken and Rosie  are in charge of this so please give it a visit and help support the Lifeboat Service.

Among the recreational facilities available locally are surfing, boating, windsurfing, diving, horse riding and, of course, as already mentioned, excellent walking on the Pembrokeshire Coast long distance footpath. Most beaches offer safe bathing and are seldom crowded. Rosie and Ken are always pleased to help their guests to get the most out of their visit by sharing their local knowledge which has been gathered over many years.
